ECOFI does not produce, sell, or distribute any organic-based fertilizers, organo-mineral fertilizers or organic soil improvers. ECOFI does not endorse any company or product for sale or trade. Upon request, ECOFI may provide a list of its members, either all members or those offering a certain type of service or product; this courtesy does not constitute an endorsement, and ECOFI does not assume any liability for the outcome of a relationship between one of its members and any third party.

Due to anti-trust rules, ECOFI does not discuss product prices or related commercially sensitive information.

ECOFI requires its members to respect competition and anti-trust law. ECOFI regularly reminds its members of its anti-trust provisions and asks them to confirm their respect of this checklist in writing.

Privacy Policy

Information that we collect via your company’s membership of ECOFI

When the company you are employed by and/or representing becomes a member of ECOFI, you or the person in your company who is responsible for ECOFI matters may provide your information in order to allow us to deliver the services as agreed in the membership contract and as pursuant to the project scope. This may include your name, job title, address, phone, email address, etc.

We may also collect your information when you register to attend an ECOFI meeting/event or webinar, or when you represent ECOFI at an external event, in order that we may carry out the obligations and administrative tasks required pre- and post-event.

How do we use this information?

We use this information for purposes of administering our working activities and providing services requested, including the issuing of newsletters and alerts, invoices and administrative correspondence.

Information that we collect through www.ecofi.info

When you visit our public web site, you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose (collected on an individual basis with your consent) and web site use information as you and others browse our web site (collected on an aggregate basis).

  • E-mail information
    If you choose to correspond further with us by e-mail, we may retain the content of your messages together with your e-mail address and our responses.     ECOFI may use web server logs to collect information about how our web site is used. The ECOFI web site uses cookies to help us improve the site and enhance your online experience. We explicitly ask for your consent the first time you visit the web site.

How do we use this information?

We use web server logs to gather information about Users’ browsing activities in order to constantly improve our web site. We may provide aggregate information about our web site visitors and related web site information to relevant service providers, but this information will not include data that identifies any individual.

When you sign up to use the ECOFI members-only intranet, it is required that you provide your name and email address. You may also opt to provide your location, company, job title, LinkedIn account and a photo.

How do we use this information?

The personal information that you provide is shared with members of the ECOFI intranet with the purpose of enabling collaboration among members.

How do we protect your information?

ECOFI respects your privacy and will not share any personal information that you submit to us with any organization unless explicit consent is given or as necessary to carry out the requested business. Your information is completely private and will only be shared internally with the person(s) responsible for handling your request.

Your personal data is stored in a secure manner that protects it from unauthorized processing, accidental loss or damage.

The personal information you provide to us will be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected.

Periodically, our operations and working practices are reviewed to ensure high levels of data protection. In general, our working practices limit employee access to confidential information and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons.

How to withdraw your consent to be emailed or unsubscribe from receiving emails and newsletters, alerts, etc.
